A Silent Vow

Track 1 from a collection of folk songs. Step into a world of ancient vows, forbidden love, fallen knights, broken promises, and hearts that remember long after the years have passed. *Ballads of Thorn & River* is a collection of medieval-inspired romantic folk ballads, where love and loss travel through castle walls, windswept fields, quiet rivers, and the shadows of forgotten kingdoms. Each song tells its own story of devotion, sacrifice, longing, heartbreak, or forgiveness — carried by evocative melodies and the timeless atmosphere of another age. These are stories of ordinary hearts caught in extraordinary circumstances: promises made beneath ancient trees, lovers separated by war and circumstance, and memories that refuse to fade. Listen closely, let the music carry you into the story, and lose yourself in a world where every melody holds a memory. Some loves are lost to time. Others become timeless. 🎻 A medieval-inspired sonic experience by djcassyjams
