The Wound is the Way

Every vampire has a first death. The Wound Is the Way tells the story of the Embrace—the night Zoe ends Morrigan's mortal life and awakens her into immortality. There is no romance here, no gentle transformation, only blood, hunger, and the irreversible crossing of the First Gate. This song marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing vampire mythology of Arch & Hand, where every wound opens a new gate, every drop of blood carries memory, and every transformation comes with a price. The First Gate is the wound. The wound is the way. Songwriter & Publisher: Michelle Darby-O'Bar Mixed at Velvet Ruin Studios
